💬 A personal introduction, and why I founded VÕS HELP

Like many people, I grew up in a family surrounded by turmoil. It shaped the way I see the world and gave me a deep understanding of how fragile, and vital, our mental wellbeing really is.

After achieving my Law degree, I built a successful property business, worked with an incredible team, and was fortunate to win multiple business awards along the 15 year property journey.

I also took on new challenges, including winning Series 5 of Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins — an experience that tested every part of who I am.

But one thing has always stayed with me: the way people struggle to access help when they need it most.

I’ve spoken for charities across Yorkshire, and even attempted to break a Guinness World Record for the longest distance rowed in 24 hours to raise awareness for Leeds Mind. The real test was of the mind . . . . . . until I ruptured my hamstring. I made it to 9 hours and 51 minutes, and although I didn’t finish that day, I will in the near future.

That drive to keep going, no matter the setbacks, is what led me to create VÕS HELP, an app built to fix what’s broken in the UK’s mental health system.

We connect people to qualified counsellors instantly and affordably, giving every individual, employee, and organisation a faster route to genuine human support. You do not need an issue to use the app, just a chat is what we promote.

This is just the beginning. With the right people joining this mission, we can finally make rapid mental health support the new normal.

If you share the same belief, that help shouldn’t take months, I’d love you to join us.
